Lindsay Roy is a retired craftsman based in Red Rock, Ontario, who spends his time transforming the natural beauty of Lake Superior into one-of-a-kind keepsakes. He curates handpicked agates and shoreline rocks from the region, then cuts, polishes, and crafts them into jewelry and decorative pieces.
Every piece he creates carries the character of the lake and the care of his hands.

Every piece is shaped in his Red Rock workshop, where raw materials are transformed into meaningful, one-of-a-kind items.

Cutting
Lindsay uses a variety of specialty blades and saws in his workshop to carefully cut each rock, whether it's a Lake Superior agate or a stone brought in by a customer. The cutting process is slow and precise, requiring patience and skill to reveal the natural shape and features within the stone. No two cuts are alike, and Lindsay takes the time to assess each rock before deciding how to bring out its best form.

Polishing
Polishing is where the transformation truly happens. Through a multi-stage process, Lindsay carefully smooths and finishes the surface to enhance colour, texture, and natural patterning. The polishing not only adds shine — it brings the stone to life, often revealing hidden bands, vibrant tones, or translucent features that weren't visible in its raw form.

Whether it’s a special rock found on a family hike, a stone passed down from a loved one, or something picked up from the Lake Superior shore, Lindsay will work with you to turn it into a personal piece you can hold onto. Every custom job is approached with care and craftsmanship, ensuring the final result reflects both the stone and its story.
